Sustainable
Winegrowing at Regan Estate Vineyards

Our Mission
At
Regan Estate Vineyards, we subscribe to the concept and practice
of sustainability in which farmers, wanting to be good stewards
of the land, seek to work in harmony with nature. As it applies
to the world of wine, it is called Sustainable Winegrowing.
There are
three basic aspects of Sustainable Winegrowing,
- Secondly,
there is Economic Sustainability. Here we operate a fiscally
responsible business, one that can continue to operate viably
for generations to come.
- The
third aspect is Socially Equitable, in which we strive
to treat our employees and community with respect.
As winegrowers,
we depend on a healthy environment in which to grow our wines. Thus,
we strive to have a minimal impact on the environment (air, soil,
and water). We live and work in a beautiful area of the world and
we want to keep it that way. Furthermore, Regan Estate Vineyards
overlooks the ecologically diverse Monterey Bay Sanctuary, which
reminds us of the wonder of nature.
Each
month, one viticultural practice that we employ at Regan Estate
Vineyards, which fits with Sustainable Winegrowing, is discussed.
