Sustainable Winery Practice for January

Insulation of cooling piping

All the pvc piping, which circulates cooling solutions, is

insulated for energy conservation

The biggest energy user at the winery is our refrigeration system. The system allows for temperature control fermentation and for wines to be stabilized after fermentation.

Cooling solution circulates through the various stainless steel tanks. By insulating the pipes much energy can be conserved. Plus PG & E provides rebates.
