Wine Club December selection consisted of 3 bottles of:
BARGETTO 2010 Muscat Canelli
"The
2010 Muscat Canelli is a light, pale straw in appearance.
The aroma profile is filled with spice and floral notes. Clove
and honeysuckle stand out to me, and there is a slight citrus
finish on the nose. On the palette the wine is sweet and round
but not cloying. The acid brightens the finish of the wine.
This is a wine that will accompany the most varied cheese
plates as a dessert or an appetizer. Do enjoy!"

BARGETTO 2009 Sierra Foothills Port
"The
2009 BARGETTO Port is a classic Ruby Port made from the traditional
Portuguese varietals in the hot climate of Amador County in
the Sierra foothills. The appearance is a gorgeous claret
color that is exactly what you would expect from a Ruby Port.
The aroma profile is filled with black peppercorns, fresh
ground coffee beans, dried vanilla beans, and fresh red berries.
This wine is perfect with chocolate or nice rich blue cheeses."
