BARGETTO WINERY 'S 2007 Santa Cruz Mountains Chardonnay is a blend of two clones of Chardonnay, Mt. Eden clone and clone 4 from the estate vineyard. Fifty percent of this blend consists of the Mount Eden clone. This clonal selection was brought here from Corton-Charlemagne in Burgundy, France in the late 19th century, and is recongnized for yielding rich and complex Chardonnays.

The two clones in this Chardonnay have come together to make a fine wine, with aromas of tangerine citrus and buttery oak. The wine has a rich lingering finish that will go well with creamy pasta dishes.
