Bargetto Winery's 2007 Barrel Select Rosso is a special release made for our Wine Club Members. After blending our 2007 LA VITA, we were left with some really nice barrels of Italian wine that needed a home. We chose your homes for the wine. This blend is mostly our Italian varietals, with a handful of other varietals to keep your mouths and noses guessing. The aroma is full of pepper, fresh fruit and earthy tones. The mouth is big, lush and complex. I wish we had made more of this so I could take some home! This is a big, meaty wine that wants to be paired with meat. Enjoy this special relase. Salute!

2008 Santa Barbara County Dolcetto -- Bargetto Winery's 2008 Santa Barbara Dolcetto is a lovely, bright, garnet color. The aromas lean towards an earth driven dried tea with some fresh and dried fruit. This wine has medium tannins, low acidity and is very approachable now.

The tannin structure is very present without being astringent. This wine will age well over the next 5 years.
