Bargetto Winery's 2006 Port is a blend of true Portuguese grape varieties grown in the Sierra foothills of California, in a climate of long warm summer days and nights which maximize the sugar levels in the grape and is so important in the production of Port. This port is 100% St. Amant Vineyard, located in Amador County, a 70+ year old vineyard planted on 5C Rootstock with vertical shoot position trellis. All traditional Douro Valley Port varieties planted in varietal blocks.
