This rugged mountain Cabernet opens with earthly elements of uplifting juniper berries, wild strawberries and a hint of Douglas fur. Mildly tight and robust, the palette offers a dance floor on which elements of blackberry, nutmeg and redwood needles seem to intertwine themselves in a juicy dance. Very drinkable now, this wine will only heighten with 3 to 4 years cellar time.
